For this society project, A NYC live theatre company, I addressed the proposed expansion of a multi-cultural performing arts venue for lower Manhattan.The space includes a multifunctional black box space, rehearsal space, offices and workrooms for artistic staff, and common areas for patrons. In addition to live performances, the venue features a gallery for original works of art, as well as a book/gift shop. The overall design concept is greatly influenced by the work of artist Frank Stella and the progression of two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes and forms.
